Our Team

Parr & Co has a large, well-established team across the business compromising of apprentices, tradespeople, foremen, technicians, administration and management staff.

Parr & Co recognises that its people are its most precious asset.  This is reflected in our consistent commitment to training across the board, including a robust apprenticeship programme through to tertiary business and human resources courses at a senior management level.

Parr & Co Ltd was established in 1871, originally situated on the waterfront of the port, where blacksmiths threw their lunch crusts to the seagulls swimming in the sea below. Since then the business has grown and diversified into one of South Canterbury’s most well-known and respected engineering companies.
